Hello today's a lax day because I only need to go out in the evening so I have the whole day to do what I want which is very therapeutic. I am in a good mood now because I had breakfast and I worked on the slides and script for next Tuesday's assembly talk back in my second home while listening to kick-ass songs so all is good :) I'm so stoked to go back!!!! Probably will clean up the house a bit later (wow right???) because it's getting dusty and I need to find my keys!!! Always misplacing them ahhhhhhh. And also, I'm going to read the Batman comic my brother got me, way back from 1988. It has the Joker in it.
Yesterday I was in the train and I started thinking about how we're always shuffling in and out of trains, buses and places. Sometimes along the way, you come across people who catch your eye in one way or another and sometimes you get the feeling that they know you're kind of taking glances at them too. But of course what follows isn't something taken out from a movie, where either of you walks over to the other to initiate a conversation. Usually. At most, a slight smile is exchanged. So you just continue leaning against the wall, or you walk away, earphones still plugged in, and the sea of people around you continues going about their lives like they know nothing. That encounter with a random stranger becomes something you think about for 5 minutes, then it just fades to the back of your mind. No physical contact, no words uttered, but in that moment, a sense of wonder and intrigue was there. You look out for minute details that could give you some clue about this stranger, whether right or wrong, guess you'll never find out. The point is, we go pass countless people each day, we see so many faces. Some stand out while others just blend in. Is there any chance that one of these people you look at could become a genuine part of your life at some point? Could an ordinary stranger become someone so familiar, you would detest the time spent without him/her? Well, guess we'll just leave that to fate huh?
Sometimes I really question fate.
I kind of want a piece of lace/crochet clothing in my closet, hmm. Have I told you The Killers sound really good?
Anyway, have a good day! X
