High hopes.

Hi I know now is a terrible time to be posting because physics paper 1 is tomorrow and I'm not exactly brilliant in physics (duh), but I just felt like writing so here I am! Unbelievably, o's are gonna be over in 3 days!!!! I've come to realize I've become withdrawn over the past few weeks, perhaps months. Hopefully, when all this is over, I can get a fresh start and get better at life haha.

Why do we crave perfection when no one is perfect in the first place? Personally, I never thought I would fall victim to society's perception of beauty. When you scroll through Tumblr and there are people who are obsessed with chiseled features and thigh gaps and shit like that, and there are also people who keep sending out the message that beauty stems from within. And all along I've just been looking at them, not paying much attention because I can understand that as long as you feel good about yourself, who cares if you look like a model or not? I think 16 is just THAT AGE where insecurities start clouding your mind and you just get really hormonal and emotional or something.....idk hahaha. Anyway, I've decided that it's pointless to be consumed by self-doubt any longer SO instead of brooding over why you can't look like this or that, why not get rid of all that negativity and just go live your life, yeah? (i feel so cliche typing this...) but seriously though. I read somewhere that you appear more attractive when you look at yourself in the mirror, but I don't know how credible this is. But I think it's kinda true. Regardless, instead of thinking: this is a lie, I actually look like shit in front of other people, why not think: hey I think I look rad, I'm gonna strut down the streets and turn some heads (haha okay exaggerated but you get what I'm saying). Wow this paragraph is getting kinda long, ok so main thing is, stop feeling sorry for yourself, stop comparing yourself to others because God made you this way and He has a reason for that. The only person you have to please is yourself. Personality always rules over appearance. Always.

So, 3 more days to freedom and yeah I'm probably gonna post more. I'm gonna create a post-exam bucket list (yeah just for that period not a life-bucket-list) and maybe I'll share it here. So when I tick something off, I'm gonna write about it :-)

Bought these 2 pieces from Cotton On last month and yeah, love them to bits. I bought a couple more things, but just these for now. So game for shopping trips after exams are over hellll yeaaaaaa.
