Daylight.

Hey! It's 10:37 now, this day has been really long!! So if you haven't found out, I was in Perth, WA, for the past 3 days and it was a really nice, impromptu getaway! :) winter was just beginning and it was pretty cold but still okay I guess :) better than the scorching heat here! So I left for Perth on Friday midnight (well actually Saturday 1am) ALONE! It was an interesting experience hahaha at least I can say I've done it at 16 :) travel alone. Thank you to my friends who insisted on me having some form of self-protection with me HAHAHA and all those who wished me a safe trip! Grateful :)
Saturday. Cousin had horse-riding lessons so I went for breakfast with my mom, aunt, uncle and grandma, then we went grocery shopping and shopping at Garden City after picking the cuz up! Then we had a nice steamboat dinner. Oh we also visited a farmers' market before that :)

Sunday. That was a good day :) went to my cousin's church in the morning and I'm thankful that the friendly helpers at the Mighty Kids department let me stay with my cousin and help out :) the kids were super duper adorable and I really enjoyed spending time there! Guess I could have been more outgoing oh well but glad the kids talked to me, they're like sunshine :)

After church, we headed to Kailis' for lunch which is near the bay and sells really good seafood! Next up was Fremantle Market which has always been one of my favourite places to visit in Perth! It's like a flea market with a retail side and a food side. You can buy all sorts of cool things there :) and the cinnamon donuts were goooood. Then for dinner, my aunt cooked fish curry and roast pork!

Monday. Last day in Perth ): went to John Forrest National Park which was nice :) weather wasn't too cold because the sun was out. But the supposed waterfalls were dried out....but we just walked around and had a picnic lunch there. Then we went more grocery shopping and relaxed at home after that. Had a really delicious home-cooked dinner before leaving. And we watched Avengers!!! /cue angelic music/ bloopers were hilarious man HAHAHA.

Roast lamb with rosemary & thyme marinade was SO GOOD!!

So anyway speaking of movies, watched Warm Bodies on the plane and it was such a sweet movie :) and Nicholas Hoult is just.....*-* plus after watching X-Men First Class how can you not love him? OMG was watching CM and they showed the Spencer & Maeve dream scene!!! So sweet they were hugging ): and darn it season finale of CM 8 pushed back to 1 July.....well thanks. Oh man it's 11:33 already! Shall pack and get my highly anticipated sleep.
